Why choose an Ethernet PoE Zigbee coordinator?

An Ethernet coordinator can be placed where radio coverage is best without moving the Home Assistant server. This also avoids USB cable length limits and interference around a computer.
The network connection makes migrations easier: the smart-home service can move while the coordinator stays in place.
What PoE adds
Power over Ethernet carries data and power on one cable. The coordinator can also benefit from the UPS that protects the PoE switch.

Choose the location carefully
Avoid closed metal cabinets, high-power supplies and immediate proximity to Wi-Fi access points. Keep the antenna vertical and away from other 2.4 GHz transmitters.
